How does this work?

Skypod couldn’t be simpler to use. A simple one-time installer primes your computer for non-obtrusive Skype recording. Once this program is installed, all your Skype calls are recorded by default.

1: Skype a friend

Skypod can record conversations involving up to six people. Be warned, if everyone in the world is talking simultaneously the accuracy of the transcripts may suffer.

2: Your conversations are automatically uploaded to Skypod

“On-the-record” calls are automatically uploaded to Skypod for processing.

Note: with the free basic plan, you will limited to uploading a maximum 10,000 hours of conversations a month.

3: Your conversations are analysed by Takagi

Takagi uses our Statistically High Improbability Tagging Engine (patent pending) to categorise and tag your conversations. Takagi also uses an advanced natural parser, which uses autonomous voice-recognition agents that spider the semantic web to extract meaning from your words and generate a human-readable description of the conversation.

Note: In the alpha version Takagi is limited to the English language, and single language phone calls; however we anticipate the final beta will be fully bilingual.

4: Manage your conversations just like your other podcasts

Within an hour, your Skype conversation is finished processing and is available as part of an MP3 or enhanced AAC podcast. Conversations can be exported to your .Mac account or any server supporting FTP or SFTP. It really is as simple as that.
